Why on earth do I even do this journal thing? I always only write a new entry because the previous one was annoying me.
Does anybody know someone who worked on a supply ship going between the islands in the indian/pacific ocean and antartica? That's where I want to go next. Now I just have to figure out how I get a job on one of them boats. (yes, a job, i'm a traveller not a tourist). And I'm not even kidding
I'm not all as active here anymore, but here's what I've been doing: www.visitknysna.co.za/originat… All the "Fresh Perspectives" articles so far are by me, there are quite a few. You can find them on the homepage of visitknysna under Fresh perspectives (you have to scroll down a little). The website is still under construction so there's no link to all the articles yet. I've been writing articles for a while, it's doing me a lot of good. I've learned how to do some basic html coding and am content editor on the website *proud proud proud* to upload the articles.
On other news I'm working on some great projects that are in the starting phase. We're working on opening a rehab centre for marine animals in a (now) abandoned building by the beach, perparing a course for some italian veterinary students that will come down later this year and there's a whole lot of stuff going on. I can't even begin to explain!

Hello humans! Big changes were expected, big changes came - I'm moving to South Africa this september (bit bigger of a change than what I thought). I was made to join a wildlife research organisation, where I'll work for a year as a volunteer. I have no idea what I will do exactly, only that I'll have to follow several courses at first (survival in the wild, driving a geep, riding wild lions...) and I'll live down at the southern tip of africa, so I can wave to the penguins across the sea 
That means bad news for my account on here, and any other account where I upload my art stuff really, because I will veeery probably not have a scanner, in fact from what I read it looks like I'll have limited internet access too. I'm starting to doubt that I'll have much time and energy left to pursue my more serious and demanding art projects at all, which makes me very pissed off, since I had my own plans and ideas, and after being off the radar for a year I'll probably have to start all over again.
To nicer topics: this wonderful person here oohlookabird.deviantart.com/ only just started out on deviantart and could do with some feedback! There are few images in his gallery yet, but I'm sure there's loads of ideas hidden in his head somewhere 
I'm sure y'all know that little kickstart you need to get really motivated about your project, so head over there and spread ze love!

trying to start taking things seriously

Wow, long time no see. I haven't uploaded very significant things in quite a while, but I want to try and update my deviantArt to a point where it can actually represent where I stand in my development as an artist. As it is now it's stuck at a few years ago. I have changed and my art has changed and I go into many new things of which there is no trace on my profile. Luckily I finally have a computer so I can do digital art and upload actual scans instead of low quality photos.
